I was reading through an online discussion forum today where the participants advise an online new-bee on how he can make some extra bucks from online activities. These kind of discussions are common in online forums. Online discussion forums are great resources for new people to learn how to make money from online activities.
Everybody knows that there is no short cut to earn money online. If somebody promises free money, then you must doubt their intention. There is nothing like free money in this world. One must be that much lucky to receive free money. Hardwork is the secret of successful online money making adventurists.
The discussion forum in which I participate has many online money making gurus as well as new 'Online money students'. These students ask a lot of basic questions such as how to earn money from online work etc. The elderly people, who knows how to earn online share their experiences and opinions. Such discussions help new-bees to understand the basic principles and theories of online money making. They may apply some of those techniques and find success.
I was one of such a new-bees some five years ago. Over a period of time I tested some of the techniques I learned from reading blogs and discussion forums and found some success. That success pushes me even now to try new methods and try to stick to those proven methods.
One of the short term techniques to earn money from online activities is to write for a second party. That second party may be a small website, a blog or a content company such as a publisher. They allow interested people to join as content contributors. Some programs requires you to generate original content. This means you need to really think and write for them. I have seen some of the online publisher's websites where the content contributors merely copy press releases and news from other websites and paste. Copy and paste is not a good idea, since it will harm the reputation of the second party and over a period of time it will affect the contributor's reputation as well. It may take time, but try to be unique as much as possible. As English is my second language, there may be many grammatical as well as punctuation mistakes when I write blog posts in English. That does not stop me from writing in English. We learn by doing mistakes. The easiest way to be perfect is doing nothing!
The long term option to earn online money is to write blogs. Again, if you are confident in creating original content, you must (I like to insist on 'must') start blogging without any delay. Original content is the most precious thing in the online world. So, better start your blogs as soon as possible. As I have written earlier also, blogs give reputation and at the same time provide some passive money. If you start getting visitors to your blog, you will make money from advertisements. At first you may feel tired writing blogs and having nobody to read. Probably for a few months, you will be the only visitor of your blog. It is discouraging, but keep your spirit in air and go on.
In this post we discussed about the short term and long term options to make money from online writing. Which one you will prefer? I will go for blogging. Though it is tiring and time consuming, still there are lot of fun in writing blogs.
